Hazard
The product presents a risk of fire as a compressor relay can fail whilst the dispenser is in use. In some circumstances, the protective fuse cannot de-escalate this issue, resulting in an escalated overcurrent and thermal fire risk.

The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.

Corrective action
The manufacturer has initiated a modification programme for affected appliances. Owners are advised to switch off the dispensers immediately. Consumers can access further information by contacting [email protected] or accessing the Borg & Overstrom website.
