Product description
Blue and white mixer grinders with accessories and black power supply cord with clover leaf-style plug
Hazard
The product presents a high risk of electric shock as it is supplied with a clover-leaf plug. If a consumer were to plug the product into a socket, the consumer could gain access to the live parts and receive an electric shock. Additionally, the lack of a fuse means the product is inadequately earthed, presenting a risk of fire under fault conditions. The product was also missing the required markings and documentation.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016 or the Plugs and Sockets etc. (Safety) Regulations 1994.
Corrective action
The import has been rejected at the border.
