Product description
An electric scooter with wall plug and power supply

Hazard
The product presents a high risk of fire because the plug pins do not conform to BS 1363 and cannot make a secure connection to the socket. Over time, this will damage the socket and plug, which may cause the product to overheat and catch fire. The product also has an incorrectly rated fuse. A correctly rated fuse is required to ensure the safe operation of the product under fault conditions. Improvements are also required to product labelling and marking.

The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016 or the Plugs and Sockets (Safety) Regulations 1994.

Corrective action
The import has been rejected at the border and destroyed.
