The product presents a serious risk of fire as the plug fuse does not meet the dimensional requirements of BS 1362 and is considered counterfeit. A compliant, correctly rated fuse is required to ensure the safe operation of the product under fault conditions. Should a fault occur, the plug may overheat and catch fire.
