Hazard
The product presents a risk of electric shock because excessive resistance may develop within the mains cord due to damage, wear, corrosion, or loose electrical connections. This can lead to deterioration of the insulation and exposure of live parts. A user could come into contact with accessible live conductors and receive an electric shock.

The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.

Corrective action
The import has been rejected at the border.
