4Motion Darlington [external link] is a Darlington based group that promotes BMX, skateboarding, scootering, skating and mountain biking.

They are behind the Skatepark, which is at Faverdale Industrial Estate.

Proof of Age Cards

The Proof of Age Standards Scheme (PASS) is the UK's national guarantee scheme for proof-of-age cards.

Are you 11-25 years-old and want to try a new sport? If so, Sportivate could be the programme for you.

Sportivate is aimed at people who are not particularly sporty but would like to play more sport. It provides you with a fantastic opportunity to participate in an exciting taster programme of sport in the Tees Valley.

We are arranging 6-8 week taster sessions with qualified coaches in a variety of sports to help you get involved! The sessions will be free or subsidised so you do not have to pay much to take part!

We have 40 different sports on offer and over 200 different programmes, so you should be able to find something that appeals to you. The programme will run through until 2015 and will be a great way to get fit and healthy, have fun and meet new friends.

Teen card

The Arriva Teen Card [external link] is a must for all young people living in Darlington. It allows reduced travel on most bus services at off-peak times and during most non schooldays.
