Who is this course for?
This course is for anybody 19+ who are struggling with their ICT skills and need support with their devices.
- Aged 19+
- Have the right to live and work in the UK
- Reside in the DL postcode area
What is the curriculum intent of this course?
The course supports the community to increase their digital skills. This can include personal devices. It also gives guidance on accessing online content to support their own wellbeing.
What will the course cover?
The course will cover:
- the basic skills needed to access various IT hardware such as computer, laptops, smart phones, tablets and more
- the use of various devices to support wellbeing
What could I do when I have finished this course?
You could progress onto one of our accredited ICT courses, such as Functional Skills or Essential Digital Skills, that will be made available to you.

What do I need to bring with me?
You will not need to bring anything along in particular to these sessions, just roll your sleeves up and try something new or develop your skills. You can bring along your own device if you wish and we may be able to support with its usability.
