What entry requirements do I need to start the course?

There are no entry requirement for this course. It is essential that you have literacy skills, as you will be required to complete written assignments in order to achieve this Level 1 qualification.

What is the curriculum intent of this course?

Level 1

The structure and delivery of the course’s curriculum will enable you to develop your skills in supporting and assisting in nurseries and schools. It will prepare you for progression on to Level 2 course. The course will improve your knowledge of the role of a school helper and assist in your own progression to further learning.
