What provision can I expect to be ordinarily available for my child’s additional needs?
Darlington Borough Council has produced a set of documents, collaboratively with key partners, to outline how schools should graduated their response to meet the needs of every child.
Most children with SEN can have their needs met by working with their school to understand what adaptations can be made to meet their identified needs.
It may be that a small group of children require significant adaptations, and the Ranges documents can help professionals, families and parents and carers to understand what may be most appropriate for each child at each step of their learning journey.
