Darlington Community Support HUB
The support HUB is a service providing basic food supplies and assistance to those who are shielded (identified by the NHS as at particular risk) and who are the most isolated. If this is you please get in touch with us so that we can help you.
If you do have a support network, but would like advice or guidance, visit our help with food, money and work page.
Phone number: 01325 405000
- Monday - Wednesday: 8.30-4.45pm
- Thursday: 9.30-4.45pm
- Friday: 8.30-4.15pm
Food packages will consist of basic items, and are likely to vary depending upon what we have been able to source. We will try to accommodate dietary requirements, but this can’t be guaranteed.
If you can safely get food and other necessities for yourself, or have family, friends, or good neighbours to help you, please use these channels. We need the hub to be able to provide for those who are most in need.
We have compiled advice on food, money and work during the pandemic, you can find information on food delivery services, community support and money advice.
Any other adult social care should be accessed through the existing council channels. Information on support from the voluntary and community sector is updated daily. Please see the map of where you can find community support:
Please do not call the HUB for medical advice if you are experiencing symptoms of the virus; if you are experiencing symptoms, please visit 111.nhs.uk[external link].
