Together with Tenants April 2026
Branksome Estate Inspection
We carried out an estate inspection at Branksome in April.
During the visit, Linda spoke with several tenants about concerns around parking and will be contacting the relevant teams to see what improvements may be possible.
A couple of additional issues were also identified during the inspection and will be reported to Street Scene for follow‑up.
Thank you to everyone who took the time to speak with us during the inspection.
Housing Services at Darlington Job Centre
Members of the Tenant Involvement Team were available at Darlington Job Centre, giving tenants the opportunity to drop in for a chat and find out more about housing services.
We were on hand to answer questions, provide information, and offer support.
Multi‑agency Meet Up
In April, colleagues from Housing, Civic Enforcement, the Police, and Private Sector Housing came together for a multi‑agency meeting.
The session focused on strengthening working relationships between teams and discussing current issues affecting our communities.
Moving forward, all teams will attend these meetings together, helping to improve joint working and coordinated responses.
Firthmoor Estate Visit
In April, Darlington Borough Council Housing and Thirteen were out and about on the Firthmoor estate.
Residents were invited to pop along to Pilmoor Community Centre to speak with the teams, ask questions, and find out more about the support available.
