0800 Repair Spreads Christmas Cheer at 700 Club

In December, 0800 Repair visited the 700 Club to donate a wonderful selection of Christmas gifts. The 700 Club was chosen by our Housing Team as this year’s recipient to support their Christmas campaign and bring joy to families in need.

Emma from the 700 Club shared her gratitude:
"We'd like to say a huge thank you for all the wonderful toys and gifts for the children who will be using our Christmas Shop. 0800 Repair’s generosity makes everything we do possible! We are also incredibly grateful to DBC for nominating us this year—it means so much."

A big thank you to everyone involved for helping make this festive season brighter for local families!

Reuniting Families – Making a Real Difference

We’re thrilled to share a truly heart-warming story from our community!

Recently, Scheme Manager Donna went above and beyond to help one of our tenants, George, reconnect with his family after many years apart. With just a few details to go on, Donna reached out to Callander Parish Council—and it worked!

Within days, George heard from his youngest sister, Anne. Since then, letters and phone calls have been flying back and forth, and George is now back in touch with his loved ones.

Donna shared:
"It’s moments like these that remind us why we do what we do: making a real difference in people’s lives."

New Name for Neasham Road Play Park

We’re excited to announce that the play park on our Neasham Road site will now be called Butterfield Park!

Over the past month, the Housing Team ran a survey inviting suggestions from local school children, residents, and our Tenants’ Panel. After lots of creative ideas, Butterfield came out on top as the community’s favourite choice.

Thank you to everyone who took part in helping us give the park its new name—it’s fantastic to see the community involved in shaping our spaces!
