Creative Life Story Work
Those with a Creative Life Story Work membership are able to access up to 12 training sessions per year around different areas of life story work, as well as access to a whole host of resources, activities, and toolkits which you can use in direct work with young people.
To get you started with your membership, you'll need to log in to our website following the link in your welcome email. The site will prompt you to set up a password. Alternatively, you can reset your password by clicking on 'Lost My Password' on this page: https://creativelifestorywork.com/my-account
Once you're in, you can start having a look through our members-only resources and toolkits, some of our most popular ones are the You Are Amazing activity, People In My Life activity, and the Think-Feel-Do Bears toolkit.
As part of your membership you can also book on to 12 Live Classrooms per year (usually £50 each!). We have some really great sessions coming up in the next few months:
- Virtual Memory Box: Transforming Life Story Work for Children in Care - 9 June 2026
- Trauma - 22 June 2026
- Recovery - 13 July 2026
- Communicating with Children & Young People about changes in their Lives - 4 August 2026
To book on, visit the Creative Life Story Work website, click on account in the top right corner, make sure you're logged in, find the session you're interested in, follow through the checkout process and the website will recognise your membership and adjust the payment due to £0.
Please note these sessions are facilitated over Zoom. Please ensure prior to logging onto the session that you are able to access Zoom on your device.

Live Classroom: A Treasure Box of Anchoring, Grounding & Regulating Tools
Thursday 28 May 2026 from 9.15-4.30pm
This month you are invited to a Live Classroom with Clinical Psychologist & Author, Dr Karen Treisman MBE.
Karen’s training is much sought-after and this month’s session will be a day-long focus on emotional regulation. Karen will share tips & tools to support emotional regulation in ourselves and others.

Free Resources for Practitioners & Interpreters
Blue Cabin have worked in partnership with Children & Families Across Borders and Therapeutic Life Story Work International to create a family of new resources to support life story work with refugee and asylum-seeking children and young people.
The three resources are:
- An animation for young people, explaining what life story work is
- A toolkit for practitioners, including life story workers and social workers
- A guide for interpreters who are involved in supporting the delivery of life story work
