Community Art Project news February 2026
Andrew Murie's artwork on display
Two large paintings by Andrew Murie will be displayed at the London Offices of the Howden Holdings Group. Howden has partnered with Outside In and are taking part in their Art Rental scheme.
In March, The Community Art Project (CAP) will be the first studio project to be featured on Studio OI, a new online platform from Outside In. It will include a curated selection of works on paper by current and former attenders of CAP.
On 11th February, Millie Seal from Outside In visited us to select artwork and meet some of our artists.

ArtWorks Together Festival Exhibition
On 12th February, Charlotte Kerr and Victoria Bowman travelled to Sheffield to attend the preview of the ArtWorks Together festival exhibition at the Millenium Gallery. The exhibition features work by artists from around the world, including;

- Greece
- New Zealand

- Nigeria
- Canada
- Qatar
- France
- USA
- Australia
- Japan
- Myanmar
- Brazil
- Croatia
- Slovakia
- The Philippines
Many of the artists also attended the preview event.
Charlotte and Victoria were happy to be interviewed at the event and spoke about their artwork and their future artistic goals.
The exhibition will continue at Sheffield Millenium Gallery until 15th June.

Syncing Space
Victoria Bowman will be taking part in the Syncing Spaces residency project. This project connects artists from the UK with artists from other countries.
Past projects have involved artists from Malaysia and Canada.
Victoria will be connecting with Pixel Kim an artist based in South Korea. Over a six week period, they will take part in online Zoom sessions. They will share conversations about art and leadership and share experiences.

Several of our artists have worked on special projects for Christmas and Valentine’s Day. They have produced pictures in the shape of stockings and hearts which we displayed on our studio walls. The next project will involve painting and drawing on glass.
