Changing and toilet facilities
The Dolphin Centre is committed to providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone. We aim to offer a range of toilet and changing facilities. We want to provide privacy, safety, dignity and accessibility for all people.
Our facilities include:
- Inclusive toilets: These can be used by anyone regardless of gender identity or expression. Some include include baby change units. They are designed to meet the needs of people with disabilities, including wheelchair users or other mobility devices.
- Accessible toilets: Designed to accommodate individuals with disabilities, including those who use wheelchairs or other mobility devices exclusively.
- Single sex toilet and changing facilities: Available for people specific to their sex at birth who have not changed their gender identity or expression.
- Inclusive changing village: Available for anyone to use regardless of gender identity or expression. It includes private showers and changing cubicles. This facility is also suitable for parents or guardians needing to assist children. It is also suitable for individuals who may require assistance from a caregiver. Some private cubicles also include baby change units.
- Parent and baby room: Available for parents to feed their babies in comfort and privacy in a calming environment. A comfort chair is provided along with baby change units and a private toilet.
- Radar toilet: A Radar key-operated toilet is located outside the Dolphin Centre on Feethams. This facility is available to visitors with an approved Radar key Dolphin Centre opening hours. Monday to Friday 6:30am to 9pm, Saturday 8am to 9pm, Sunday 8am to 7pm.
