I am responsible for the strategic direction and operational leadership of Adult Services across Darlington and I am responsible for continuous service improvement and delivery of financial and performance targets. 
I support the Director of Adult Social Services with the strategic direction of Adult Services working closely and effectively with commissioners and key stakeholders.  

I lead teams that deliver frontline social work, safeguarding, occupational therapy, reablement and day and respite services alongside community-based support, ensuring our services promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing for residents. A key part of my role is driving improvement, fostering collaboration, and ensuring that our approach remains person‑centred, sustainable, and responsive to the needs of our most vulnerable adults.
