I am the Assistant Director of Environmental Services and Community Safety, responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction across a wide and varied portfolio of essential frontline services. My areas of responsibility include waste and recycling, parks and grounds maintenance, arboriculture, street cleansing, winter maintenance, motor transport, and the Council’s community safety and civic enforcement teams.

These dedicated teams deliver vital services that help ensure Darlington remains a safe, clean, green, and well‑maintained borough for our residents, businesses, and visitors.
