I am responsible for a broad range of services that support residents every day. This includes housing services for our Council tenants, covering tenancy management, income, repairs, maintenance and building surveying, as well as ensuring our homes meet all health and safety standards and become more energy efficient. I also lead work to deliver new Council housing and acquire properties to meet local need.
I oversee our homelessness and housing options services, delivering our prevention strategy, managing the housing waiting list and supporting refugees through national schemes.
My responsibilities also include our Lifeline service, which provides 24/7 emergency support to residents in the community and in our sheltered and extra‑care schemes.
In addition, I lead our Revenues and Benefits service, and oversee our Corporate Customer Services team and Customer Services Centre, who support residents with a wide range of enquiries.
