I provide leadership across our Finance, Health & Safety and Human Resources teams. This includes overseeing all financial activities such as budget setting and monitoring, year end accounts, financial advice, project work and grants, as well as VAT, insurance, treasury management and financial protection and assessment services. I also act as the Council’s Deputy Section 151 Officer.
I lead our Health & Safety service, which provides policies, advice, risk assessments, incident reporting, audits, contractor compliance and training. I also oversee Human Resources, covering policies, strategies, employee relations, advisory services, wellbeing, benefits and project work, along with our in house Occupational Health service.
My role is extremely varied, and no two days are the same. I work with colleagues across the whole Council to support services and help them deliver for our residents.
