I lead the services that shape the places where people live, work and spend their leisure time. My responsibilities cover Planning, Economic Development, and Property and Estates, working together to attract investment, drive sustainable development and support growth across the borough. These teams help create the conditions for good jobs, thriving businesses and high‑quality spaces for our communities.
I also oversee our regulatory services, including Environmental Health, Private Sector Housing Enforcement, Licensing and Trading Standards. These teams play a vital role in ensuring that homes are safe, food and drink venues are well‑regulated, and the goods and services residents use are legal, safe and compliant.
Together, these functions help protect our environment, support local prosperity and maintain high standards across the borough.
