Head of Strategy, Performance and Communications

I am responsible for a diverse range of corporate functions that support the whole Council, working with a highly skilled team to deliver them. My areas of responsibility include communications and marketing, the development and maintenance of our online services, oversight of key corporate ICT systems, and strategic leadership on equality and diversity. I also lead our approach to performance management, research, analysis and policy development, ensuring we have strong evidence and insight behind our decisions.
I am also responsible for the Council’s Digital Darlington and Artificial Intelligence strategies, which focus on using technology to improve efficiency, productivity and the overall experience for our residents and staff.
