Darlington Open Spaces Volunteer Environment Scheme (DOVES)

DOVES (Darlington Open Spaces Volunteer Environment Scheme) was set up in 2017 to support these volunteers, bringing people together to share ideas and skills, and to encourage every green space in Darlington to have its own “friends” group. Most groups start small – neighbours planting a few bulbs or picking up rubbish, and they grow from there. If you care about your local green space and want to help look after it, DOVES would love to hear from you.
