Middleton St George Neighbourhood Planning referendum Thursday 11 August 2022
This Neighbourhood Plan covers Middleton St. George Parish excluding Teesside Airport.
What is a Neighbourhood Planning referendum?
Neighbourhood planning helps local communities play a direct role in planning.
Residents can use the Neighbourhood Plan to take part in planning application decisions.
The plan shows how the community wants to develop the area.
The community has the final say on whether a Neighbourhood Plan or order comes into force.
If more than 50% of people voting in the referendum support the plan or order, then the local planning authority must bring it into force.
