#LoveDarlo Restaurant Week returns

Food lovers are in for a tasty treat as Darlington’s popular #LoveDarlo Restaurant Week returns from Sunday 4 until Saturday 10 October. Diners can enjoy two courses for £10 or less, or three courses for £15 or less at a wide range of town centre restaurants and eateries across the week.

Restaurant Week follows the Eat Out to Help Out campaign in August. This was hugely successful for local restaurants, with many continuing to offer their own deals.  

Throughout the Week, discount diners can choose from Italian, Indian, pub food, café selections and much more without forking out a fortune. Venues old and new to the town have signed up and are looking forward to welcoming diners. Amongst those taking part so far are: Al Forno, Meze, Oven, Three Squares Café, Tiyatro, and Voodoo.

Alongside special dining offers, a series of food themed competitions will tempt online food fans to take part through the #LoveDarlo Facebook page.

Councillor, Alan Marshall Darlington Borough Council’s cabinet member for Economy and Regeneration, said:

“I am delighted that this popular week is returning to the town and thank all the businesses who have come on board. Darlington has an excellent restaurant offer with a wide range of restaurants, bars and cafes that is amazing for a town of our size.

“After the success of the Eat Out to Help Out campaign, Restaurant Week will be another excellent opportunity for diners to save some money and enjoy a night out in Darlington.

“Local businesses, especially the hospitality sector, need all the support they can get, and I urge diners to get involved, book a table, and enjoy a tasty treat or two across the Week without breaking the bank.”
