Risk description
This product poses a serious risk of choking as small parts can be produced if the product is dropped or placed under tension at 17N. If small parts are created, a young child may place the part in their mouth and choke. When tested in accordance with the impact test, the toy's wheel broke and presented a sharp point, which may cause injuries. The self-retractable rope on the phone has a cross section of 0.70 mm when subjected to a tensile force of 25 N + 2 N. This is lower than the limit of 1.5 mm and may cause a strangulation hazard to a child. The product's flexible plastic bag used for packaging also has an area greater than 100 mm x 100 mm and the bag thickness measured as 0.21 mm, which is less than the minimum permissible limit of 0.038 mm. The bag therefore poses a potential asphyxiation hazard. This product does not meet the requirements of the Toys (Safety) Regulations 2011.
