The product poses a risk of choking as when tested according to the tension test, the magnet of the fishing rod detached at a force of 80N and fits entirely within the small parts cylinder. The magnetic flux index for the magnets is 70.58 kG2mm2, which is greater than the maximum permitted of 50kG2mm2. If two or more magnets were swallowed, there is a risk that the magnets become drawn to each other in the digestive system, which could cause serious injury or death if medical attention is not sought immediately. The product does not meet the requirements of the Toys (Safety) Regulations 2011.
