Pop Up Shops

Darlington Borough Council is keen to support not for profit organisations who trade and there will be opportunity to have a pop up shop in the Town Hall  to sell products. This could be to sell gifts, cards, crafts, produce or insurance and funeral plans. As you will appreciate there will  need to be checks in terms of public liability insurance and accreditation for financial products. These stalls will operate on a rota basis and need to be booked in advance. Dependent on demand extra days may be added but at the moment the stalls will be operational on a Thursday between 11am and 2pm.

Further details of how to apply to have a pop up shop can be found by following this link

Opportunities for Voluntary and Community organisations

Raising the profile of your activity

The Council in collaboration with Department for Education now has an opportunity for voluntary and community organisations to use space in the shared areas to display pop ups, have a stand (information only or a staffed stand) and to put information on the TV screens in the collaboration space. As voluntary and community organisations all you need to do is to e-mail location.collaborationspacecompletearea@darlington.gov.uk stating what you would like to display and when you would like to display the information.  Information to go on the screens needs to be in PDF or JPEG format.
