Product description
A fishing game, consisting of one dice, two fishing rods, 11 different wooden figures and two trays for the shapes with partitions. The fishing rods are wooden sticks with string and on the end there are wooden blocks with magnets on them. The shapes are objects such as fish, sunglasses, shell etc. The shapes have a metal rivet in them.
Hazard
The product has been identified as presenting a risk of choking as reports have been received that the metal rivets on the shapes can become detached. If the rivet detaches while the game is being used by a young child, they could place the small part in their mouth and choke.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Toys (Safety) Regulations 2011.
Corrective action
The product has been recalled from end users and withdrawn from the market by Ikea. Customers who own the game should stop using it and return it to an Ikea store for a full refund. Further information about the recall can be found online.
