Product description
The 'Ultralink' is a shackle that is used for arborist activities to secure the top rope anchor point. The recall applies to all units in circulation from 28 February 2023 to 13 March 2023.
Hazard
Reports have been received that the unlock button can be unintentionally depressed and the device inadvertently opened during use. If the button is depressed during use, this could lead to the user falling and being injured.
The product does not meet the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2016/425 on personal protective equipment.
Corrective action
The product has been recalled from end users. If you own an affected product, stop using it immediately and remove it from service. Further information about the recall can be found online.
