The product presents a high risk of fire as the fuse incorporated into the plug does not contain the sufficient granular filler. The fuse also does not meet the minimum measurements required by the standard, meaning that it is possible the fuse could fail, causing the plug to overheat and ignite.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.
Corrective action
The import has been rejected at the border and destroyed.
