Product description
A reusable respirator filter designed to provide a level of respiratory protection for the user from certain, defined hazards.

C22280 and C22281 if they are not marked with a quality check label.
Hazard
The manufacturer (3M) identified a number of the Organic Gas and Vapour 6059 ABEK1 filters have damage to the filter casing resulting in potential reduced gas and vapour and/or particulate performance when tested to the performance requirements of EN 14387:2004 and A1:2008.
The affected filters have damage to the filter casing where it meets the filter lid and the pre-use checks in the User instructions are expected to identify the damage in most cases.
The affected filters do not comply with the Personal Protective Equipment (Enforcement) Regulations 2018.
Corrective action
This product is subject to a product recall by the manufacturer and users have been asked to check if they possess any of the 3M 6059 Series Organic Gas and Vapour filters from the batches identified and stop use immediately and remove them from service and inventory.
