Hazard
The product presents a high risk of fire as the pins on the device do not comply with BS 1361-1. The lengths of the live, neutral and earth pins are too short and wide. If the pins wear down the socket could overheat, and the plug could ignite. The instructions are inadequate as they do not contain sufficient information to ensure the correct and safe use of the equipment.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.
Corrective action
The import has been rejected at the border.
