Product description
Black hair straightener with handle and spring activated lever. Black cord with 3 point UK plug.
Hazard
The product has inadequate protection against accidental contact with basic insulation and metal parts separated from live parts. Also under testing it was possible to touch parts separated from live parts by double or reinforced insulation.
The CE mark can only be found of the packaging and instructions, as there is not enough space to affix the marking on the appliance. The product also didn't have the required addresses, names and markings.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.
Corrective action
We recommend owners stop using this product immediately. Contact the distributor you purchased from to request redress.
The listing has been removed by the online marketplace (Fruugo).
