Product description
Comprised a card box containing a tube of orange cream. The box was marked, Caro white, Lightening Beauty Cream, with carrot oil, 30 ml, Dream Cosmetics, 23 BP 4757, Abidjan 23, CI. The tube was marked, Caro white, Lightening Beauty Cream, with carrot oil, 30 ml, Dream Cosmetics - 23 BP 4757, Abidjan 23, CI.

The product presents a serious chemical risk as following analysis, the cream was found to contain 422 mg / kg (0.042% w/w) clobetasol propionate which is prohibited in cosmetic products. The product's ingredients list on the tube also indicated the presence of hydroquinone, which is prohibited in this type of product, and the ingredient was not listed on the box.
The product also required improvements to labelling and markings.
The product does not meet the requirements of Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009.
Corrective action
Removal of the listing by the online marketplace (eBay).
We recommend owners stop using this product immediately. Contact the distributor you purchased from to request redress.
