Product description
This is a liquified petroleum gas (LPG) Fish and Chip Frying Range with either 2 or 3 frying pans and a scuttle. Typically sold to mobile caterers.
Hazard
The manufacturer's business name and address are not marked on the product.
The products as sold have not been properly conformity assessed or undergone Type Approval, as required, to evidence the safety of the appliances.
The manufacturer has therefore not met the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2016/426 as enforced by The Gas Appliances (Enforcement) and Miscellaneous Amendments Regulations 2018.
Corrective action
The products have been removed from sale.
A recall of the affected products sold has been initiated. If you have purchased one of these unbranded products, please contact your supplier.
Do not use the appliance if you have any concerns about its safety.
