2023.08.01 Recall: Delight 2 Bite / Thistle branded - sandwiches, wraps and baguettes

The following notice has been issued by Food Standards Scotland.

Snax4U recalls various ready to eat products due to the incorrect use-by date being applied to the products.

Product details
All Delight 2 Bite, and Thistle branded sandwiches, wraps and baguettes with the company address Keppochhill Place, Glasgow on the label
Use-by dates: all dates up to and including 01/08/2023

Risk
The products have been labelled with the incorrect use-by date instead of the correct date, therefore, they may be unsafe to eat due to risk of bacterial growth that could cause illness if consumed.

Our advice to consumers
If you have bought any of the noted products do not eat it. Instead, return it to the store from where it was purchased for a full refund.

Action taken by the company
Snax4U is recalling the above products. Point of sale notices will be displayed in all retail stores that are selling these products. These notices explain to customers why the products are being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought the product. See the attached notice.
