Product description
Square LED Floodlight luminaire (20W) with wiring for wall installation, supplied in brown cardboard packaging
Hazard
The product presents a high risk of electric shock as the earthing arrangements are insufficient, which can allow accessible metal parts of the product to become live. If the consumer were to touch accessible metal parts, they would receive an electric shock. The product supply cord is also inadequately fixed, which can allow live wiring to become detached from the product. The product also required improvement to marking, labelling and documentation.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.
Corrective action
The import has been rejected at the border.
