Product description
Seven models of woom children's bicycles and balance bikes, designed for children aged 18 months to 14 years. The affected stem can be identified by the single silver screw.

Hazard
The products have been identified as presenting a risk of injuries as it is possible for the stems to become loose or detach, which can cause the user to fall.
The products do not meet the requirements of the General Product Safety Regulations 2005.
Corrective action
Consumers have been contacted by woom and/or the distributors of the products to warn them of the risks. Consumers will be provided with information directly on how to obtain a stem kit and instructions to fit the stems. Consumers are also given the alternative option to receive a voucher and have the stem replaced at a woom dealer at no cost.
