The Peak View Ratchet Helmet is a translucent shell with see-through peak and sides that allow the wearer to look upwards without the need to tilt the head. It includes a 6-point textile harness. It is available in colours blue, black, yellow and red.

Further product identifiers
The issue is limited to 3 styles, with the following LOT numbers: SS0522AUK, SS0522APL, SS0323AUK. Lot numbers can be found on the outer carton and polybag packaging. If packing has been removed, users should check the inner helmet shell, those engraved with the following dates should be returned to Portwest: 03/22, 10/22, 03/23.
Hazard
When the helmets are exposed to conditions equal to or colder than -10 degrees Celsius or immersed in a water bath for longer than 4 hours, the helmets are at risk of notwithstanding the impact at the level accepted under standard EN 397 Standard.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Personal Protective Equipment (Enforcement) Regulations 2018.
Corrective action
