Product description
Black airbag backpacks with a 30-litre usable volume designed for skiers. The 150 L orange balloon is designed to inflate in three seconds.
Hazard
The product is classed as personal protective equipment (PPE). Decathlon have recalled the Wedze air bag as internal quality processes have identified that some airbags may be rolled instead of being folded, which could result in the inflation time being increased. This may increase the risk to the consumer as the product may not perform as expected when relied upon as an airbag.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Personal Protective Equipment (Enforcement) Regulations 2018 and Regulation (EU) 2016/425 on personal protective equipment.
Corrective action
