Product description
Blue mouthwash in a 500 ml or 30 ml clear plastic bottle with white lid. Designed for orthodontic use.
Hazard
Several batches have been identified as presenting a microbiological risk as they contain a high count of aerobic mesophilic microorganisms. Further investigation indicated that the high count was due to the presence of an unidentified pseudomonas species.
The product does not meet the requirements of Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 on cosmetic products or the Cosmetic Products Enforcement Regulations 2013.
Corrective action
The product has been recalled from end users.
Affected distributors and end users have been notified directly and advised to return any affected batches.
