Product Description
Product is a soldering iron with additional accessories in a carrying case, with a power supply cord and plug.
Hazard
The product presents a serious risk of electric shock as there is access to live parts. The product is also inadequately earthed, with no granular filler in the fuse, which could lead to a fire if there was a fault in the product or a surge in the current.
The product also requires improvement to marking, labelling and documentation.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016 or the Plugs & Sockets (Safety) Regulations 1994.
Corrective action
The import has been rejected at the border.
