Product description
Orange and black drywall sander with black power supply cord and plug.
Hazard
The product presents a serious risk of fire as it was found to be inadequately earthed, meaning that if a fault was to occur, the product could become live and give the user an electric shock. The product also failed the electrical strength test, which presents a risk of fire.
The product requires improvements to marking, labelling and documentation.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008 or the Plugs & Sockets (Safety) Regulations 1994.
Corrective action
The import has been rejected at the border.
