Hazard
The product presents a high risk of electric shock as poor earthing connection in the product could lead to accessible metal parts becoming live under fault conditions. If a user were to touch metal parts, they would receive an electric shock. The product does not meet the requirements of the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Plugs & Sockets (Safety) Regulations 1994 because the plug and cable are considered counterfeit.
Corrective action
