Product description
Anti Black Spot Moisturiser / Skin Lightener in white and yellow tube, supplied in white and yellow cardboard box.
Hazard
The product presents a serious chemical risk as the box and tube were marked 'Betamethasone Valerate BP 0.05 % w/w'. Betamethasone valerate is a glucocorticoid substance and is not permitted in cosmetic products. The product also requires improvements to marking and labelling.
The product does not meet the requirements of Regulation 2009/1223 or the Cosmetic Product Enforcement Regulations 2013.
Corrective action
Destruction of the product.
