Hazard
The products present a serious risk of fire, electric shock and explosion as the transformer was of poor build quality and did not meet the minimum creepage and clearance requirements. Improvements are required to marking, labelling and documentation.
The products do not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.
Corrective action
The listing has been removed by the online marketplace (eBay), and the product has been recalled from end users by eBay.
Consumers who have purchased these products have been contacted directly by eBay and advised to stop using the product immediately.
