Doing Business with the Council

NEPO portal

The NEPO portal [external link] is an eTendering system which is used by the 12 North-East Authorities for all quotes and tenders. All of the Councils quotes (over £10,000) are obtained through the NEPO portal and all tenders (over £100,000) are advertised through the portal.

NEPO Portal Upgrade

The NEPO Portal is upgrading to a new version of its e-tendering system. This will be launched on 23 May 2016. The NEPO Portal will be entirely unavailable for tender submissions and the raising of queries from 17:00 on Thursday 19 May until 8:30am on Monday 23 May.
This upgrade will affect how you access the NEPO Portal and it is vital that you understand what actions you may need to take to avoid any interruption to service. Please click here to view this important information.
