Swimming clubs

Darlington Amateur Swimming Club (DASC)

The main focus of the swimming section of DASC is to encourage competitive swimming. The club mostly caters for children and young people, but may have limited spaces available for older experienced swimmers.

Children should have reached at least Level 7 on the NPTS (or equivalent) before applying to join.

The main club nights for DASC are at the Dolphin Centre on:

  • Tuesdays: 5.00pm - 9.00pm
  • Sundays: 4.00pm - 7.00pm

Squads also train at other pools on other days.

DASC also has a diving section, which is open to children, young people and adults to join, as long as they can swim confidently in deep water.
