Darlington HAF Programme

We are pleased to announce that Darlington Move More Team from Darlington Council is again offering free places on its Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme this summer.  Funded by DfE, the programme is for children aged 5-16 years who receive benefit related free school meals.

The children will take part in a range of activities including sports, crafts, cooking, water sports and many more with food provided each day.  The summer programme will be ran at various venues throughout the town and surrounding villages, all sessions need to be pre-booked and children cannot turn-up on the day.

Details of the programme are sent to eligible parents and guardians via schools.  A unique code is required to book a place for your child.

If your child receives benefits related free school meals, you can obtain a HAF code from your child's school to register free of charge.  Please note:  we are required to make random checks to ensure that the unique codes are being used by the children that this programme aims to benefit.

Places for our summer programme will be available from Friday 21st June and can be booked on Eventbrite.  Please visit [external link].  Search for 'DBC' and location 'Darlington'.  All the current events will be available for you to select.

For more information or to check eligibility, contact the Move More team on 01325 405400.

We hope that this programme provides a happy, healthy and fun experience for all who attend.
