A requirement of Functional Skills, ESOL and GCSE courses, both classroom and online based courses, are to sit mandatory exams to achieve your qualification.
Your exams will take place at L&S at The Coleridge Centre or L&S at Bennet House in Darlington, adhering to strict social-distancing measures and on a pre-arranged date and time. Under no circumstances can you sit your exam at home or at an alternative venue. Exams are now held online from our venues rather than paper based. You will be allocated time for exam practice.
GCSE exams are set nationally by the government and cannot be changed. Due to the nature of the ESOL qualification, ESOL exams are usually held in the lesson with the tutor present.
You can find specific exam information on each individual course page.
